WVDP: “Riley Moore and Carol Miller Aided Trump’s Cover-Up — Release All the Epstein Files Now
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 18, 2025
CHARLESTON — The West Virginia Democratic Party today blasted West Virginia Congressman Riley Moore and Congresswoman Carol Miller for refusing to sign the discharge petition that forced a vote on releasing the Epstein files — and for only agreeing to support the resolution after Donald Trump realized he was about to lose and abruptly reversed course.
“Let’s be absolutely clear,” said WV Democratic Party Chair Mike Pushkin. “Riley Moore and Carol Miller had one job — sign the discharge petition and help force the release of the Epstein files. They refused. They stood with Trump to stop that release until the very last second, and only switched their votes when Trump caved because he knew he was going to lose. That’s not leadership. That’s complicity.”
Pushkin said, “If President Trump truly wanted the files to be made public he doesn’t need a discharge petition, he doesn’t need a vote on the resolution, he doesn’t need the Senate, and he doesn’t need a bill on his desk to sign. All he has to do is tell his Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to release them. That’s it. One order. If he truly wanted transparency, the files would already be public.”
Instead, Trump has called on Attorney General Bondi to launch new investigations targeting Democrats only, a move designed to cherry-pick politically convenient pieces of information while shielding himself and his associates.
“This isn’t about justice for the victims — it’s about protecting Donald Trump,” said Pushkin. “Trump fought the release of these files because he is engaged in a cover-up. This is a conspiracy of the highest order involving rich and powerful elites, and Riley Moore and Carol Miller are part of the effort to hide the truth. They helped protect wealthy, well-connected predators instead of fighting for the victims of the greatest sex-trafficking and child-rape scheme in modern American history.”
The Democratic leaders criticized Speaker Mike Johnson, Miller, and Moore for parroting Trump’s excuses and giving him political cover.
“Trump, Johnson, Miller, and Moore are all complicit,” said party Vice Chair Teresa Toriseva said. “They are shielding powerful elites instead of exposing the full truth. Their job is to protect the victims, not the predators.”
The West Virginia Democratic Party called on President Trump to end the selective-disclosure charade immediately.
“We demand that the President order Attorney General Bondi to release everything — every file, every name, every document — Republican or Democrat, rich or powerful, no exceptions,” Pushkin said. “The victims deserve justice, and the American people deserve the truth. End the cover-up now.”
