30-DAY PUBLIC NOTICE - 2026 WVSDEC Organizational Meeting

WVSDEC Organizational Meeting Scheduled for June 6

Pursuant to W. Va. Code § 3-1-9 and the WVDP Bylaws, the WVSDEC shall meet and organize within thirty days after the primary election.

The WVSDEC will hold its organizational meeting on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the WVSSPA Conference Center in Charleston, West Virginia.

The meeting will include the election of:

Chair
First Vice Chair
Second Vice Chair
Two Associate Chairs (1 male, 1 female)
Congressional District Vice Chairs (CD1 & CD2, 1 male and 1 female each)
Recording Secretary
Associate Secretary
Treasurer
Parliamentarian
Three at-large members
Standing committee members

The Committee will also fill vacancies for:

One Male member from Senate District 2
One Male and one Female member from Senate District 3 excluding Wood County
One Female member from Senate District 14

Additionally, the Committee will fill any other vacant positions set forth in W. Va. Code § 3-1-9 and the WVDP Bylaws following the results of the Primary Election.
