WVSDEC 2026 Q2 Organizational Meeting
Pursuant to W. Va. Code § 3-1-9 and the WVDP Bylaws, the WVSDEC shall meet and organize within thirty days after the primary election.
The WVSDEC will hold its organizational meeting on June 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the WVSSPA Conference Center in Charleston, WV.
The meeting will include the election of: Chair; First and Second Vice Chairs; two Associate Chairs (1 male, 1 female); Congressional District Vice Chairs (CD1 & CD2, 1 male and 1 female each); Recording Secretary; Associate Secretary; Treasurer; Parliamentarian; three at-large members; and standing committee members.
The Committee will also fill vacancies for one Male member from Senate District 2; one Male and one Female member from Senate District 3 excluding Wood County; and one Female member from Senate District 14.
Additionally, the Committee will fill any other vacant positions set forth in W. Va. Code § 3-1-9 and WVDP Bylaws following the results of the Primary Election.

Notice Requirement
Official notice for each meeting will be issued in compliance with the WVDP Bylaws, including the effective notice requirements set forth in Article Five, Section 5(a) and Article Two, Section 3. Meeting dates, formats, and locations are not final until official notice is provided.
